Answers:

  What is a QR Code?

A QR, or quick response code, is a two dimensional barcode that can be read by smartphones using a QR Code reader; each mobile phone platform has many free reader apps available. The reader takes a picture of the code and translates it into the information it contains. This information could be a web address, text ad, product picture & description or video and is often used to provide promotional coupons.

What types of Business Cards are there?

Generally speaking there are two business card layouts and either may contain print on one or both sides. The most popular horizontal presentation and the vertical, where the card is read standing on end. The card dimensions are the same. The biggest changes to cards has been in the information they contain. Traditionally, you name, company, address and various phone numbers were standard. Today, company locations are not as important as their website or your LinkedIn information.

  Why would I choose a two-sided card over a one-sided card?

Personal preference or the amount of information. Elements such as font or logo size may also contribute to the decision for a two sided card. With twice the space, the front could contain a traditional layout of information/graphics and the back could display a QR Code, sales promotion, or appointment information, etc.

There are only four primary inks that printers mix to produce every single color you see in full color printing. These colors are Cyan [C], Magenta [M], Yellow [Y], and Black [K]  CMYK.  4/0 - full color (CMYK) printing on the front side with no printing on the back side.  4/1 - full color (CMYK) printing done on the front side with black/grayscale on the back side. 4/4 - full color (CMYK) printing done on the front and back side.
